I usually enjoy these stupid fluffy wreaths, but does it ever turn into anything other than woman’s family treats her like trash and then she goes home to be treated like trash by a stupid cat?

For a book that takes place in Egypt, there are no Egyptian characters of importance? The rich girl from South America has a magical connection with an Egyptian pharaoh? Her savior is a white British Lord?What?

Of course the female police officer is an emotional moron who gets in the way. Do I bother to continue?

I don’t know if I’ve ever disliked a main character so much before. Can I finish this?

The unrealistically rude and bitchy old lady character makes this almost unreadable. I don’t understand how these nasty characters that people just constantly make excuses for have become a hallmark in books like this. No one behaves that way and gets away with it over and over again without recompense.
