I was looking for a fun read, and this looks like it will hit the spot!

I think I just found my new favorite author!

OK I am definitely getting the constant backstory now. And it is working. It's just wow. So much pain. So much.
But I am loving this story!

I have really become a huge Keri Lake fan since reading Nocticadia. And while I am enjoying the darkness and intrigue of this story, I really am not a fan of alternating chapters going pack in the past. I understand it gives you more of sense who Lucien is, but it's getting a bit tiresome.

Sigh... we're at the 3rd act break up that Cam is causing. It literally makes no sense.

So Cam is a doormat basically.

Well of course I had stop reading everything else to start this. Been waiting so long for this release, and it's the last in the series. Looking forward to Cam and Dusty's story.

Part 3 - Awaken...I had to set this aside, I have been binging all day and I am just mush. It is a non stop glorious ride I am on but I am exhausted and need to let my brain rest.

After literally through The Lies of Lena, which I loved, I am stunned stupid how amazing The Sins of Silas is. I am literally sitting at the edge of my seat!!!

Oh the feeling of trepidation is bubbling in my belly.

I am currently in a Rina Kent chokehold with her darkness. Hence, my other 2 stories I started are now on hold until I can escape the chokehold :)

Unfortunately, I am not onboard with this story at all. I loved the first 3 in the series, but Landon is just garbage, even with how dark these stories can be, I am just not finding this one even remotely believable with either Mia's or Landon's actions. And while the author leans on dubious consent for her first 3 stories, there was no dubious consent, this was straight up sexual assault.

Obviously I am still in my dark and dirty phase after reading Kiss the Villain by Rina Kent. I am completely loving her dark writing style. These boys are bad in every sense of the word, and I am here for it.

The epi for Nocticadia is why I am jumping in to this one, pray for me LOL

I believe Keri Lake is a new favorite author for me. This is my first and I am completely gob smacked.
I finally got to the section of Lilia and Dr Death I have been comping for and walked right in to a WTH???
So we have mystery, intrigue, smexiness, creepiness, and something a lot bigger than I anticipated.
So good!!!!!

We are at the twists. I am feeling a little trepidation. I think things are going to get bumpy.

I haven't read an MM story in quite some time, and definitely not a dark on. This is my adventure in to the world of Rina Kent and I am hooked!

OMG!!! The pace is non stop. My head is spinning!!! So worth the wait.

*Squeals* I have been chomping at the bit for this one!!!

I am still reading and enjoying, though it will take some time to complete. As other stories are released, I read them, but always come back. Just wanted you all to know, you can put this book down for a month, come back, and get right back in to it. That's how good this story is!
