I found this book referenced as a introduction to Buddhism and it seems to do that job well. It's more of a collection of works than anything else which works well with understanding the subject. But the book causes me to reflect quite a bit and that drastically slows down my reading time, which is refreshing since I've reached a dry spell when it comes to books.
