i'm almost half through the book and there's a lot yet nothing happened

I do appreciate that she wrote a fictional story about how her life would be if she lived with her birth mom. You do you. But, if I'm being honest, I am not very bright and sometimes I can't tell the difference right away which one is reality and which one is not.

after two books and apparently tens of rich people she worked for, i feel like millie should've learned to shut the fuck up and mind her own business. millie in the 2nd book sounds really fuckin stupid if i'm being honest. and i feel weird that the book also follows her as a main character. i think this should have another main character and then add millie as a side character or involve her later in the story.

my goooood will the main character stop being so fuckin naive and get a grip already? how stupid and naive could you be to think that the police won't track any phone number that got involved in a case they're investigating? i get that you're coming from a ✨nice✨ and ✨wealthy✨ family but this is just dumb as shit.

60 pages in and I already hate the female lead character. she is so nosy and annoying. kalo emang orang gak suka ngelakuin sesuatu ya ngapain dipaksa buat suka sih? dikorek-korek pula tentang alasan kenapa orang itu gak suka? gak jelas bgt.

where is the murder gonna happen? i'm almost 200 pages in all i'm getting is just the main characters working in a hotel.

Naomi is fucking annoying. She keeps asking Nitta about the investigation and even though Nitta had told her like gazillion times that it's confidential, she's still "but i wanna knooooow :((" like she can't mind her fucking business.
AND when Nitta finally told her about the investigation and even about his theories, Naomi was like naaah no fuckin way dude i know bcs i'm always right and you all are fuckin idiots.

Its getting really hard to sympathize with Eunju. I'm sorry that your life is hard but holy shit you can't even do your job properly and you don't listen to other people.

Eunju pisses me off so bad but I can't really blame her because I get that she lived a hard life. But it took her sooooo long to fully realize there's something wrong with her husband.

It really just a bunch of blabbering that I hardly care about. The whole story is about the before and after the body was found. But the thing is we already know what's going to happen after that from the beginning of the book. I just want to know what happens to the father in the end. I don't need all this about how the mother met the father for the first time and other bullshit that doesn't really matter.

This is basically a bunch of fillers that doesn't really matter to the story. Give me the murder investigation!

I'm gonna be honest and say that I have never been the biggest fan of action movies so I never tried to read the books either. But this one, I can read this one. I'm actually interested in this one.

The book keeps repeating things it already told its like the author thinks their readers have the same brain as Dory.

Gak tau emang naskah aslinya begini, atau terjemahannya aja, tapi tulisannya gak enak banget dibaca deh. Kudu baca berkali-kali dulu buat ngerti apa yang diomongin.
