so far, really loving this one. Preparing to be emotionally destroyed.

I love it so much already - I’m cautiously optimistic… please let it continue to be this good!! Magic system is unique in the way it’s explained - think, computer programs with inputs. Strong female protagonist that I’m already in love with. Finally another book I just don’t want to put down!!!!

So tempted to just give up on this one but I’m so close to the end I might as well power through.
I’ve got whiplash from the way this story bounces around. When the main character gets pushed into the past and then the story shifts to her life for the next 10 years while she essentially plots to catch up with herself? Uh… ok. Sigh.

Absolutely charming book so far. A view of the racial and cultural divide between a young boy living on the Native American reservation and the neighboring white community - all told with humor and spirit of a teenager. Finding myself laughing out loud a lot!
