Very excited to read this after LOVING Crossing The Line!

Pure magic in those first 50 pages. Literally what I've been waiting forever for. But the fact the thing I wanted to happen has happened so early does not make me hopeful for the 600+ pages I have left as I fear it will be ripped out from under me. PLEASE LET ME BE HAPPPPPYYYYY

Not sure if I'm ready for this to come to an end but here we go

This is actually rather difficult to read. Perhaps I'm overly sensitive to it and that's why its making me so uncomfortable. The description of the care agency cutting corners with supplies is painful

Parts of this particularly the caring experience is really hitting home. In particular how corners are often cut in "professional" care and can become far more about money, in turn dehumanizing the individual. This is one of the many reasons I feel so lucky to have been in a position that I could personally care for my family. Outsiders coming in and dismissing a persons earlier life compared to the present
