I didn't even like Delirium that much, but I feel a mighty need to read this??? why??? This is Shatter Me all over again.

If you're wondering why I'm reading this after disliking the first book so much, my answer is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I swear to god if GR gives me that "look at our new book page!" pop up one more time I am going to LOSE IT 😠

For the first time since I've joined Goodreads, my GR reading challenge goal is under 100 books. I decided to take it easy on myself this year because I'm expecting a baby in April. 🥰 I suspect I won't have much time for reading when they come along.

If you have any tips for reading with a baby, I'd love to hear them (I think audiobooks are going to be a must, but am open to any advice.)

Since I got into comics some 10+ years ago, I've become so grateful that my parents put me through the French school system which has led to me being (mostly) fluently bilingual. Love me some French comics (and not having to wait for translations to be published. 😗)

I never would have picked this up myself but my husband (J) and I are doing a little reading challenge this year: every month, we get to pick a book for the other to read. J and I have incredibly different reading tastes (outside of comics where we overlap a lot more), so I think this will really challenge us to read outside our comfort zones. :)

If you're curious, I chose Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta for him.

100% cheesed my GR challenge this year. Just changed my goal so that I could actually meet it by Thursday. 😂 To be fair, the pandemic and ensuing lockdown really threw my reading through a loop this year. I also injured my back at the beginning of the month and was completely out of commission for 2ish weeks.

Hope y'all are having a better reading year than me. Here's to hoping 2021 is better.

Tfw when you can't read for several days because you have an upper back/neck/shoulder injury and probably a pinched nerve. 🙃 Thank goodness for audiobooks.

Listening to this on idea and I just can't focus on it when I have it on. Going to return to my library and try at a later date with the print version. :)
