This was a hard book for me to rate. No doubt, Luke had impossible shoes to fill and I was cheering for the Politicians who gave him permission to not have to fill them and encouraged him to leave the rat race of Washington. And although Luke acknowledged his life of privilege, I found the traveling voyages to “find himself” out of touch after awhile. Grief is sadly a part of life, i hope he finds peace.

Could not finish this book - although I liked the premise of the story, I found it dragged on and on, making it rather boring and aimless.

This was before my time, but loved being brought back to the fame and fall of drugs, sex and rock n’ roll! I also enjoyed this unique style of writing - felt very authentic, like I was in the room. Fast read because it was hard for me to put down - needed to see what Daisy would do next...living on the edge.

This is my life right now, a whole new world of parenting for me...the intro alone pulled me in!

On to book 2!

Fascinating so far!! This book is broken down month to month on how to discipline yourself to feel grateful for the ordinary everyday.
June was about making time for FRIENDS! "Of all the thinkgs that wisdom providesfor living one's entire life in happiness, the greatest by far is the possession of friendship."
