Urgh why don’t books have hashtags

Got this recommended even though I’m pretty sure I won’t like it as much but let’s give it a try

Most addictive read I’ve had in a long time even though I’m probably going to hell for this (mind the trigger warnings!)

Character depth who? I’m so glad when this is over I don’t even care about the plot anymore

Came for the gay romance, stayed for the politics (seriously, I love it! Finally good written historical politics)

I’ve been reading this book for three weeks and from 15 to 60 % I was so SURE I was gonna dnf it but... I didn’t? Still not sure why. I didn’t connect with the characters nor the story. I don’t think the tragic background(s) was dealt with accordingly nor do I think that’ll happen in the last 9 % but now I’m kinda hooked how it ends

I bought the books before the whole drama but I sure as hell won’t give them a rating or support them otherwise

I was honestly so confused because I thought I’d started with book two of a series? The book keeps making references at something in the past and it reads like it was all discussed in book one.
Nevertheless, I kinda like the topic but I’m really not a fan of the insta love trope so I’m kinda having a hard time staying interested rn

Wtf even is this book? I dont know if it’s just consistent and good writing that the main character is a dick and always does the most stupid thing or if I’m just too annoyed by it

To make this even more confusing, it’s now... THE RUSSIANS!

I almost quit this after the first chapters because well, call me sensitive, but for me this book is definitely more on the morally challenging side (I mean, come on author, you only made peter over 18 so nobody could openly complain). But, I adapted to the uncommon main character and his uncommon sense of humor and now I’m hooked (story of my life tbh)

Whey, this took me a long time to get into. The first 40% this book made me feel sooo uncomfortable! I think it’s partly because I really can’t stand the main character and the way he behaves towards others makes me uncomfortable and angry. But it seems I got a bit more used to it ;)

Mmorpg gaming, twitch and one of the main characters has my ex's (the one I played mmorpgs with, duh) name. Didn't know what I walked in on and why on earth didn't I read the synopsis? But it's too late now, I'm already hooked because well, how can you not?

Finally! The new book of one of my favorite series. Read the first ~100 pages in one sitting because I've missed Warrick, Toreth and their special little relationship so much and I also kinda missed the fucked up dystopian future called the Administration which gave me, not kidding here, more than one anxiety attack in the past. My personal nightmare in a book but it's so good to be back :D
