Book is okay. I love the little kid parts. I'm still a little put off on the ending of serpents kiss. It feels unresolved. And I'm a little scared this book is heading into "giving up immortality for love" which makes a book an insta-dislike for me (WHO WOULD DO THAT??). Hoping for a great ending! I have a feeling the book after this is going to tie up the serpent's kiss ending. (hopefully)

I love Rune! He plays world of warcraft lol. That's so cute. Also like Carling or whateverhername is. So far it's a fun read.

Tricks is so cute and I love the thunderbird. Enjoying the book so far. Has lots of action, tenderness, humor and cool characters (The vampire elder is awesome). Glad I found another series to sink in to.

Oops! Dragos tackles Pia on the beach and it makes a point of saying how her hair is atypically unbound and flowing to the middle of her back then 2 seconds later when she walks into the house it's mentioned her ponytail felt like a rats nest against the back of her neck.

I remember seeing TONS of this book in used book stores and avoided it because of that. But it's actually pretty entertaining so far.

I'm only a few chapters into the book. So far so good. I just noticed that when Dragos tackles Pia on the beach it says her beautiful shimmering hair is free and unbound and glorious (yadda, yadda) but then she walks inside and it says her ponytail felt like a rats nest against the back of her neck. Oops!

I need a recommendation for a great urban fantasy series.. STAT! I just finished Larissa Ione's and loved it (also a fan of hamilton, ilona andrews, harrison, ward somewhat and .. sheesh too many to name). Anyone? Hellllp

Really enjoying reading this. I stand by the need for an editor but don't let that prevent you from reading this. Also don't let the Mr and Mrs Howell speak (hope she doesn't continue that in future books) because this is a great summer (or anytime) read. I love all the little paranormal legends and locations in Cornwall that she provides. Also I'm enjoying the romance because it's written more believable than most

So far the novel is cute and fun. I love the Cornwall setting. The archaic dialogue is weird though.. "please do call me caitlin". ... uhh.. wha? Everyone sounds like Mr and Mrs Howell. That aside, the setting is cool, the ghosts are fairly interesting and it's keeping me interested. Also agree author needs an editor and a cover artist. I'm available to do both for a small fee. lol

Eh. Slow, draggy and repeats stuff over and over. I'm slightly intrigued by the whole lighthouse mystery but it's yet to really be involved. The main character is okay but reads like a teen novel (is this a teen novel?) and Dex is weirdly annoying and kind of dorky in a bad way. Hoping this book gets better

The premise that she is THE grim reaper. The only one. Yet is solving a murder and hasn't helped anyone to the other side in the first 80 pages is sort of distracting in its wrongness. I'd think if there was only 1 reaper it would be a Santa situation where she'd need to magically travel the world in fast speed ushering the dead to the afterlife. No time for a story. So I'm struggling a little with the book.

Great book!

I loved the beginning of this book and the world. But it's getting a bit draggy. Hoping it picks up. Also don't like Beka. I like Byron and Amity though.
