I'm trying really hard to like this one.
But I'm finding it impossible.

For a woman so unhappy in her marriage, she sure as hell has does nothing to help fix it. All she's done is complain to her friends instead of actually talking to her husband about their problems.

I just want to thank Abby Jimenez for making a Spotify Playlist. It's amazing.

She just may be my musical soul mate.

I don't want it to end. I hope this man continues to write books. He's so darn good at it.

I was hopping the second book in this series would be better than the first.
I WASN'T.
What is with writing men treating women cruelly? More than that, what is with the women letting the men treat them this way because they either love or loved te man?

75% of my unfinished books have this theme.

You know, as much as I like Mariana Zapata's books, I hate that there always seems to be this big secret that's talked about but isn't revealed till the end. What's that about?
And okay, I get that it makes the story a bit intriguing to wait for it. But why is this huge secret always talked about and made to be a big deal that it can't be said.
It would be fine if it didnt happen in all her books. But it does.

It started out really good. I loved the characters and their backstories.
But then it got dumb. It got dumb out of nowhere. The main female character, Coach, for some lame reason thinks it's her duty to save the main male character. That's it's up to her to be responsible for another person's sobriety.
She has it in her mind that she it's up to her to do it on her own, with no help and with no-one knowing about it.

This chick is so annoying. And don't forget dumb.
I started out listening. I thought reading would be better. Nope. Her whining is unbearable.

I'm not too thrilled with this one so far. It started off so slow. Nothing significant happens till a quarter into the book.
I also don't like male characters who don't respect a woman's right to refuse a man. And I hate that the lead female character doesn't stand her ground.
There are some things that have kept me going, but not much. I waiting to like this book.

I was apprehensive about this one. The whole high school misfit coming back to her hometown a hot mess. She ends up falling in love and winning the heart of the hot and eligible man in town, who is usually the guy she wanted in high school.

This book is all of that... and more. I love that it's not all about the love story. I'm enjoying the progress she's making with the soccer team, on and off the field.

I was loving this book. But then it happened. The "kill me now" part of the story. Why do all there romantic comedies have an overbearing, overwhelming, pain the ass mother/mother-in-law? And why do they always get away with their bullshit? Why are they never told to sit down, shut up and mind their own damn business? It's so annoying.
