I started this book but can't finish it now because the 3rd GoodReads Community review SPOILED it without a Spoiler Alert note. What an A$$HOLE!

Rereading a great series.

30 minutes into this book and ...

I'm not sure this book is for me and don't know how to describe why. It feels too ... anti-feminist ... Light and flighty ... Cinderella unknowingly waiting to be saved by Prince Charming to find her life's fulfillment.

I'm not sure if I will be able to continue this novel. Two percent into the audiobook and my most hated trope is revealed: the mental health counselor pursued a romantic relationship with the protagonist. Hello? Unethical, immoral, and ILLEGAL!

I'm not sure if I can continue. My most hated trope has been used: a mental health professional pursues an intimate relationship with a patient.

I am slogging through this one. Too much focus on the Arcadian thugs, especially the nihilist and the pedantic conversation of DuBose and Jergins.

But the contaminated whisper room was an interesting development ... except having to read chapters of primordial thoughts.

Wow. I've ordered a copy of this book to own. I'm listening to the audiobook from the library, and I know I'm going to have to go slow for emotional reasons.
