If animals have dreamscapes, how is she able to distinguish between those from humans? I’m going to have so much to talk about at book club

This pacing is really frustrating

Hmmm, I don’t know if I care for a weird talking key and a vigilante cop

I don’t know if I can get through this 😭

The audiobook narrator made Max sound soooo old, like ancient. And when he’s described as being “retired”, I thought this man was 70. Why did I have to look up fanart to see that he’s like 30 MAX?!? I was so worried that he was going to be the love interest until then 😭😭😭

This has definitely been a struggle to get through. It feels super depressing in a way that I might not want to continue soon if something doesn’t get a little better

Wow! Bennet really knows how to write a twisted mystery. This book is so goooood!

Kelsier seems more and more unhinged. He reminds me of an adult version of Kaz Brekker.

These two perspectives seem like they are a part of two separate books. I'm still feeling wonky on this

My fav quote so far: “Suddenly, Vin felt an overwhelming peace. The emotion slammed into her like a sudden weight, her emotions squished silent, as if crushed by a forceful hand.”

It’s written so well to show that this very peaceful emotion is forced on her unnaturally.

Why is Jake Gyllenhaal a character in this book? 😂

This part is really starting to feel fatphobic and is giving me the ick. I’m so far in now tho that I want to finish and give it the review it deserves

Gosh, leave Fred to his work please. He asked nicely like 5 times and they’re still asking him questions

Why is the dialogue soooo bad

Oh Fliss :'(

I love this so much!! Kate Quinn is gonna make me cry again
