Love Swan's books and especially this particular world. Just hasn't quite got going yet but I'm sure that once this initial setup is over it will be the usual action, intrigue, and dark magic.

Everything is coming together in this final book of what has been an outstanding norse-inspired fantasy trilogy. The pages are almost reading themselves as I fly through this, totally sucked into the story. I'm expecting this will be one hell of an ending and can't wait to experience the thrilling conclusion.

This book is so good right now. I'm loving the unique magic system of the corpses of dead sorcerers being used as a grand power generator that runs every aspect of the empire. It's a crazy cool concept. Not only that, but I am also enjoying the plot as well. I'm hoping this one doesn't lose steam because it has some really awesome potential and has me turning the pages pretty rapidly at the moment.

Flying through this. The mystery is deepening and my attention is 100% focused on the reveal of the ultimate answer(s).

I have to say it's a really cool read already. Utilizing images, drawings, different fonts, and interspersing it all throughout the book is very House of Leaves-like. Some readers will hate this but I'm loving it and the story is good too!

Awesome continuation of this series so far. The tension is mounting and it really feels like something huge is about to happen. Hanrahan certainly knows how to weave a story and keep the reader totally transfixed.

Damn this is going to be one crazy final few chapters I just know it. Can't wait to finish this book and start my review!

Okay now that life has slowed down a little I am so happy to get back into this one. So far it is just as I expected and more! Love this series.

Creepy start to this one and I'm actually pretty into it. Kind of a "To Kill a Mockingbird" crossed with "It" feel.
