Fascinating. I’m learning so many new things and seeing Billy Graham in particular in a whole new light.

Can’t put it down!

I love it so far.

Of the different storylines going — the Rand one is the least interesting. It reminds me of Dune. Perrin’s story is the best. Loving that.

A boy in college told me about this series in college and i stubbornly resisted. Now i’m sorry i did. I’m sorry Justin, wherever you are. You were right. ❤️

I have been hearing about this series since college. Can’t believe i waited this long. I wish i knew other people who had read it so i could shake them in trepidation and excitement.

Love this book even more than the first one because there is no learning curve. You understand everything already and there is a lot more action.

It’s been very interesting but i’m looking at the second half of this book like 😳

Most (over)used phrase describing Jobs: self-aware and cruel.

Autodidact in various bookish realms. Librarian. Lover of stories. (Especially scary ones.) Skeptic.

This book should be exciting but for some reason it’s falling flat. Not enough peril maybe. Stakes aren’t high enough.

Each chapter is told with a different (at first far-flung) character as the protagonist and i love that each one is a treat you look forward to, “oh yeah this woman/guy! I like her!” Oh James S.A. Corey — you beautiful conglomerate.

Just over 50 pages from my last check-in and the plot has greatly accelerated. Things are heating up nicely.

Just when you start to think that you’re reading a political ….thriller….kind if too strong a word….the plot slaps you with a fetid zombie limb at just the right moment. If you want a wall to wall horde of zombies and lots if gore so far this book is not the one for you. I’ve never really read anything like this. It’s good. Hoping for more scares to come.
