A few thoughts: formatting needs updating as the count to the next chapter is non existent.
Also, this is labeled YA yet the text is not relateable to that audience. Reading is a chore.
IE: "Chester had ceased improving how he coped with stress and anxiety, both social and amorphous."

I would like to thank my favorite English teacher, who I affectionately called Johnny, for not forcing us to read this. On the precipice of DNFng, because why waste your time on books that don't transport you into a world you love?

Seriously, why did I wait so long to reread this series?

My grandmother loaned me this when I was 11 ish, and I adored Anne. Rereading and wow, she talks a lot, and in retrospect, I think my grandmother was trying to tell me something 🤔

This is so hard to put down!

Okay, I'm only 1/3 of the way in, but "husband" has such an obvious out from 'something I can't mention,' and he doesn't take it and caves. So far... that's pretty maddening. *please get better, people really loved this one*
