Pp 243 told me to remember that life is a great balancing act. This changed the notion of degoratory implication of “walking a tightrope” to a positive perspective. We always have yo make small adjustments in ourselves, our lives and that’s just part of the work. As ling as I do that, I am making progress every day. I loved this book

Pp. 212 “on comparing yourself to magazines: “Wouldn’t it be nice to have loved during... the Dark Ages, when everyone wore baggy robes and no one really knew what your body looked like?” Lmao. Lesson: Self-image can become an illness if you obsess over it.

I enjoyed reading the bit about embracing a “Win-Win attitude.” It is a belief that everyone can win. It’s not just 1 or the other (pp. 152-161) I feel like ppl would enjoy this mindset. The pearl of wisdom from this is: Life is NOT a race. Every1 goes at own oace and individual obstacle course. So don’t compete and compare with anyone other than urself, you r setting urself up. Win-Win
