The ending felt a little rushed and too easy. But I guess there will be another book to tie up some addition loose ends

How is the author going to finish this?! I feel like its definitely gonna end on a cliff hanger and I'm gonna be pissed.

Couple things to note:
1. I'm a silly goose who didn't process the description well and I guessed two parts easily.... that are right in the books description 🤣
1a. I'm not sure if I am super smart or if this book is predictable
2. I really wish there was a little more depth to the world building, we are just passing over this world that has an abundance of creatures.

The ARC has 366 pages vs 496 pages on goodreads, what am I missing?
