I don't think I can finish this one. I am just not a fan of magical realism and I am finding this all very confusing.

So far this is a cute, modern day chic-lit story.... normally I don't like this genre, but I am reading it because it is Reese Witherspoon's BOTM. It's super cute and a nice change of pace from the last several books I have read!

I cannot wait until this is a movie and I hope and pray it is done well! I loved this story. I loved the friendship storyline the most! Sometimes your person is your very best friend! <3

I just couldn't anymore! Gave up

I just can't finish this one! There are too many great books out there. I really loved another book by this author but I could not get into this book, I didn't like the main character nor could I empathize with her dilemmas. It is possible that because I tried to read this book after reading a 5 star favorite, this book just could not measure up. Maybe I will try to finish it another time.

I am more than halfway done with this book and I just want to quit it! I just don't like it, I don't love the characters and I don't care what happens. I feel like I am missing what everyone loves about this book. I loved All Who are Brave are Forgiven and The Nightingale and Beneath the Scarlet Sky but I am not at all loving this one. I am just slogging through it!
