I started this to get closure to the Dune Sage but wow it’s rough. I’m surprised because I liked the prequel novels that the authors did. I’m hoping the book gets better but I can’t say I’m not worried

Over halfway through the book and this reminds me of Path of Daggers not in a good way. While there are some interesting things happening, most of it feels like setup for the next book.

I’m feeling conflicted so far on this book. It’s got some good stuff in it but I’ll be the first to admit I’m not a huge Iron Hands fan. I’m definitely more interested in Vulkan’s story of getting back to Terra.
