currently still reading but just wanted to make a note. this book seems to be very surface level in the way relationships are depicted to be in LA but then we get these snippets of loaded emotion. but very small snippets— the tiniest shows of deep emotion. even when helene is crying, maria tells her “oh don’t go and be depressed.” emotions are always brushed under the rug but the chapters are still so heavy

wowowow 300-400 was insane i didn’t think this book or series would make me cry but i was sobbbbbbbing and i think im attached
