Is it weird that I don’t question the gold or the rot, but Slade being that emotionally intelligent is throwing me? Like all of a sudden he’s a therapist and is talking her through her trauma. That’s the part that feels hard to believe

I am going to finish this series! I let too much time go between books and then I’m lost the first 10%. No more! I am going to (try to) not start another book until I finish this series.

Reading this with my daughter. The change in language between when this was published and now is amazing. I have to stop and tell her what certain words or phrases mean every few minutes.

There are like 500 POVs in this book, and I’m really only excited for 3 of them

For being a genius CEO, this guy is a doormat. And also never seems to work.

I have to finish this before I leave on vacation! I keep hearing about sobbing at the end and I don’t feel like doing that on a plane. But it’s so good I also want to take my time with it.
