This reminds me so much of this lullaby by Sarah dessen (literally one of my favorite books ever) and if it's anything like that I'm going to cry and feel so many things. Tbf Ashley poston always writes amazing books, but to re read something like this lullaby again with fresh eyes. That'd be heaven

I have a lot of free time at work and the book is due within a day.
I guess its getting interesting. But I feel like its a lot of hand waving. Like of course z is super familiar. Of course Artemis is super familiar. Of course shooto (sp? I've never read only heard it) knows. Of course h knows.

Im honestly at this point kinda surprised wil wheaton is reading this. The Mc is a fucking creep and abuses his powers insanely. Im going to finish it because im already so far in. And wil wheaton is a delight to listen to. But ugh. The mcs behavior is almost like white alpha male bullshit. There's a popular spoiler free review on this book that hits the nail on the head.

Just like the previous book its a bit of slog as you get through the comic/80s nerd culture references. The plot once its moving is good tho.

Its so good. And has the horror of humanity that is known through out her books. I love her worlds

Ooo ive missed her writing. One of her last books i read left a weird taste so I took a long break. But this is amazing. Tho I do wonder at some of the consistent themes I see across all her books and hope the author hasn't experienced it herself.

This book could easily be solved it people knew how to freaking communicate. At this point its making me so angry that I don't even want to read it but am bc i want to finish it and get it off my shelf.

This really focuses on parenting. Which isn't for me. But it's good.

Im flying through this book. I picked it up a few days ago and it's so good. Im worried about one of the characters betraying the group. Yes. More betrayal. I hope not but I have a feeling.

This is so so so good. I wish sleeping wasn't a thing so I could finish this. But work...

There's a lot of repetitive stuff.
Kinda wish I could just eat lunch with him now and listen to him talk

Need to sleep or id read more. The character development is very real

So the first half is the actual memoir. The 2nd half is stories. Ive been enjoying it

Unfortunately he focuses on being a parent a lot which isn't really my vibe as I don't plan to have kids but I get why he's doing it.

Half way done. Only 12hrs to go. Its definitely getting better as he finds his footing.
