This one is a very weird story... and there's 50+ ways it can go further.
I will be either gobsmacked by the ending or completely disappointed.

This feels like a B-grade, straight-to-TV young adult movie.

After having read about Ancient Greek Gods and Heroes I was looking forward to this one! It is fantastic!

The cover gives "Bad Teacher" meets "Twilight"

This is getting too repetitive ...

I enjoyed the writing and the pacing so far. The writing reminds me sligtly of Naomi Novik's "Uprooted".
I have a feeling the book could have done without a third of the chapters by the end... we shall see.

I cannot seem to get attached to any of the characters... and so I do not get invested in the story.
It is a long book as well.... maybe the writing is too pretentious for my liking.

Of course they changed the book's format for this third installment!

It is such a shame the writing isn't up to par. The subject, the worldbuilding and the characters could benefit from better writing.
The heart going "thump thump" and modern slang doesn't quite click with Norse mythology and Vikings (imo).

It can't be published as YA because there's romance involved... but the writing is subpar.
