I am having a hard time with this novel by Kazuo Ishiguro. The premise and the intrigue are promising and well done but the pace is killing me slowly. Some chapters could have been trimmed a little as well.

Tracy Chevalier can write a cookbook and I will read it! Her books are always an immersive experience!

The writing (or the translation) is quite bland but the worldbuilding is interesting.

I expected to see the full journey (and the whole reasoning behind the masterminds for ex.)
But the more I read the more I am convinced we're going down just one more level or so....
And, as much as I enjoy the novel, I don't see myself reading 10 more novels (500 pages each) just to reach a conclusion.

This is "Ready Player One" on steroids! And it's fun and engaging so far.
Wonder if the "behind the scenes" delivers at the end or if it's a gimmick...

This is frightening to read. And it's real

Okay... *whispers* this is good! Decent writing, interesting (a bit too "bourgeois") characters. I am okay with the ammount of spice too!
