I often forget / take for granted how good King can really be.

Dude just needs to lay off the social media. lol

Really enjoying this.

The character and world building are great, and easily compensate for the parts I don't like so much. (No spoilers)

Struggling a lot with this book.

I wanted a book on overconsumption, with guidance on how to do better.

I'm not too far in - so there's still time to save it, but the author does his readers a disservice with strawman arguments and oversimplifications to push his worldview.

What a missed opportunity so far.

I'm hoping for one last revelation that ties it all up - but so far, it's falling unfortunately flat.

An interesting read.

I don't relate to a big part of it, but it's making me think and reflect

Unsure if I'll be able to stick with this.

Super out of date. A wee bit too conservative as well.

This is a perfectly readable book, but is a super slow burner.

Blue and Red are nice, 'human connection' stories.

Incredibly well written.

As a lot of this is written in first person, I was concerned that they were going to paint Moat in an overly sympathetic light. But this is not the case.

Seems like a short read, looking forward to reading more.

Preface: I'm agnostic, and I've always wanted to read the holy books - That's it.

I'm really struggling with this version of "God". We're told several times that He's a "jealous god" - but lordy. How bloodthirsty and violent this book is.

Also, I never want to read "A pleasing aroma for the Lord" ever again. lol.
