My perspective has changed a lot since I first noticed this book in 2015. Now that I am finally getting around to reading it, I am curious to see how I receive this true crime history it in today’s light.

I’m only 50 pages in I already love this novel but it’s going to take me a long time to read it—lots of re-reading paragraphs to take in every detail. The narrative voice is terrific.

Rereading for class

This book is raising my blood pressure. Definitely giving some PTSD from rearing younguns while working FT and swinging a second shift at home. I actually can’t read it at bedtime — my version of a horror novel I guess

Really excited to dig into this novel—plot and setting are right in my sweet spot.
