How did this get through editing with all of the italics? It's so easy to get pulled out of a bad book with almost every single paragraph having at least one word in italics.

Chapter format reminding me of The Rose Bargain. Really liking this so far though. But Sim's pov? What's with all the "So."??? There's one "So." at least every other paragraph.

I can't put my finger on why, but even in the first book, Lydia rubs me the wrong way. Emmett is now too.
