I've barely started and I'm already considering to DNF. Branding a book as "Persian mythology" so much and then replacing elements of said mythology with elements of other beliefs is a bit difficult for me. If this book was presented even a bit as the mix it is, I would have no problem with it. Fantasy can be a sandbox for many things. Maybe it'll get better along the way, but atm it feels a bit misrepresenting?
