I love Catherine Anderson but I am struggling with this book. I love the abused horse and heroine theme but it's dragging. And it started out so good. I will persevere.

And I love Nora Roberts. And so far no romance at all. It's a good mystery but I think she wrote another book kind of similar. With three teenage girls in a diner but I can't remember.

The Hero is a pig and honestly I fee l like I am reading a book from someone named Connie Lingus or Anon Ymous from Blue Moon porn!!! So gross and yet a little hot. I am going to confession before Easter thank goodness but depraved happens to be a very apropos name for the book don't judge me.... Yet. 😉

I finally get a hero named Di Fiore and I don't like him so much. And I kind of don't like the heroine either. I told my husband to be on call in case I need to vent. He went fishing.... What a chicken!!! LOL

Okay I just read one of the weirdest sex scenes ever in a romance novel. And with a victim of torture abuse and rape to boot and it is really really yukky! I threw up in my mouth. Omg just gross I read It aloud to my husband and he squicked out and made me stop!! Lol the look on his face was priceless I should have had a camera. 😳

I am having a hard time staying engaged with this book. It's different and I like it but the animal sanctuary stuff, which I thought I would totally love, is kind of boring me! Way too much of it. Needs some romance or action too.

How did this book get into my Kindle??? It is awful so far.

Horrible horrible horrible. I am going to finish it but honestly it stinks. The plotline and the writing. I can't believe this is Sara Orwig! The writing is stilted and immature.
