Andrew’s style is so enjoyable!

Chapter 4 shows how the new covenant contains covenant stipulations and the associated blessings and curses. But whereas the law covenant could never produce obedience (circumcised hearts), the new covenant does. Christians need the covenant warnings just as much as Israel; only it is not about departing from the law, but departing from the Christ.

Chapter 3 is really very helpful. Understanding the Christian's relationship with the Mosaic law is discussed sensitively and carefully.

The first chapter was tough going. I'm going to have to read it again! Chapter 2 was easier to read; Abraham's Four Seeds really helped as background material!
