This cozy queer fantasy should have been right up my alley, but for some reason I just couldn't get into it. I stopped a lot and finally powered trough, but sadly, I'm just feeling "meh" about it.

I liked the narrator, especially how he voiced the ogre.

Such a great premise, but the main character is kind of boring and the story is slow going...

Slow start, got really fun around 50%

It's getting better... Though when the speaker says Rafe, I always hear wrath 🙈

I'm listening to the audio book. I hate that the main characters nicknames rhyme. Rafe and Seraf. Ship name? Serafe?
I also have feelings of deja vu - will this book take a very sudden "unexpected" turn? Let's find out...
