For my Librarian-Friends: if you're using the beta version of GR and can't find the edit button for book edits, click on your profile picture. After the menu pops down, you can check edit mode directly under your picture. I just spend about 15 minutes frantically searching for this option everywhere on the book page and when I decided to give up and return to my profile, there it was *laughs*

GR is acting up again. People get notifications that I'm posting/editing reviews of books I've read years ago even though every single option in my "Feed Update Settings" is, by default, disabled as well as the "Add to my update feed" in the "Edit review window". I have no idea why this is (still) happening... I'm sorry if you get flodded with unwanted notifications. I have no idea what more I can do to prevent it.

Just saw this on my timeline on twitter and thought I'd share it here.

Futekiya is holding a campaign where you can read their whole library for free throughout May. You have to create an account and leave your payment info before you can start reading. I will try them out because they have a tag system that allows you to include/exclude certain themes, elements, etc. I discovered that one of the tags is 'dubious consent', which I happily excluded in my search! Let's see how it goes.

I finally picked it up again after three years since I needed a break from m/m romance. My reading is still a bit slow going (since I'm mostly reading this on my commute) but my focus is definitely there this time.

Reading this is exhausting at times, I often get pulled out of the story because i have to read some passages multiple times (and even then some stay confusing) but despite of the clumsy writing/bad editing I want to know what will become of Luca and Kane. So I'll be reading on... for now.

Is it just me or is the editing really not very good? ... ... or did Amazon sell me the first edition rather than the revised one..?

God, I'm so nervous re-reading this, knowing what I know about what goes down in book three and all. It will give this re-read a whole new perspective, I think.

It is beyond me why people think they can contact me quite casually and ask me whether I could pass them some copies of their *beloved* Mangaka's work because they *love* it so much but can't find it anywhere else... Well, try their shop maybe? Just a thought, you know...

On chapter 14 right now. And I'm loving it. Just got past two of my favourite scenes today: Ty and Zane's hug in the woods and the convo in the tend afterwards (I love the slow development of their relationship). Now it's Ty getting mawled by a ... and it's going to be bad (but still good). I don't like Earl, though, he's mostly an ass (in this book...)

Since I finished my Reading Challange two days early and completed my play-through of Zelda TP HD today, I did a bit of bookself-cleaning. I went through my to-reads and my wishlist, deleted the books that didn't appeal to me anymore and looked those up that are being published by Dreamspinner since today is the last day to get 30% off (store wide). And I bought 24 new books. Hurray! I'm super excited.

Finished 'Threshold' which i really liked too (but there were quite a few typos in there unfortunately). I'll start 'Stormhaven' later this evening and I cant wait.

I'm sorry I'm neglecting you in favor of Whyborn and Griffin #2...

Just finished the first book 'Widdershins' and it was amazing. I honestly can't think of anything that I didn't like right now. I desperately want to start reading 'Threshold' right now but since I have to get up early for work tomorrow I have to wait...

This is so exciting!

Already my fifth book by Kim Fielding this month and I'm still not tired of her stories. I started last month to re-read a couple of her works and moved on to books I didn't know. She definietly pulled me out of what felt like a reading slump.

Once again on hold. I can't seem to get into it for a long period of time.

Finally picked this up again. I only have time for a few pages each day before going to sleep so this is going to take a while.

So, unfortunately a certain Swedish furniture shop wasn't able to deliver my stuff this Saturday for ominous reasons which means that I still don't have a proper bed to sleep in or a couch to sit on or a shelf to store my books on. Which is just marvellous, really. This is torture for my back and for my inner peace because my books are all STILL packed up (T_T)
