This book has a rough start and could have benefitted from some good editing. The writing in the first few chapters struggles and took me out of the story. I nearly stopped reading.
While the subject matter is difficult (extremely), once the author gets going, I am hooked, compelled to read on.

Actually began reading this book on December 30, 2018.

Oh my goodness! I cannot put this down. Rowling proves again that she can write engaging, thrillers. Her antagonists are evil personified. I hope she keeps the Strike series going.

This book is fascinating. Filled with facts about the presidents activities and interactions after they left office. I knew Nixon was tricky, but I didn't know how close he came to treason or how active he became after he resigned the presidency.

Im taking this one verra slowly. I want to savor every little story in it.

I can't get past page 10. The author's language keeps making me read and re-read. "...an olfactory clatter of heels across a hardwood floor" Beautiful sentences I wish I had written.
