Oh crap, I was enjoying this until the character shares that she was happy when Netanyahu and Trump was elected, then proceeded to follow up with a very pedophilic chapter where she states "I'm not a pedophile because he was 18 in my dream" while the actual child is 12. Ugh. What is even the point?

So far I’ve enjoyed myself and I’ve found so many interesting and relatable cultural references. However, I’m noticing a dip in the material. I’m at Part V and starting to wonder where this is going and why on earth is so long, some of these parts could have been edited out.

This book is dragging, feels like I've been reading it forever...

I read the book in Norwegian, but thought it was meh. But I’m going to try again in English and see if the translation did anything to help.

Meaning is not something you stumble across or what someone gives you; you bild it through every choice you make, the commitments you choose, the people you love and the values you hold dear.

I think I held my breath through the entire first chapter, just WOW!

The writing is good, but for some reason, I'm bored now

I don't know why, but I thought Riley Sager was a woman... I can tell by the writing it is not.

Where did the narrator go?

I'm a hundred pages in and it feels like a chore. I don't find Britt-Marie particularly interesting or likeable. I understand that she's on a journey and I'm sure it's going to be a heartwarmning one, but I'm so bored.

I'm not far along but I'm meeting myself in the door here and it's uncomfortable as hell... I'm gonna go ahead and say already that this will be the most important book I read all year.
