I can tell it's not going to be as good as others by the author, but it's Liane Moriarty so still highly readable.

Just when I was about to quit it there was a sudden surge inteh action where it seemed like one of the miserable characters was finally going to get some peace/joy/rescue. It didn't happen, but the momentary thriller-like action kept me going into Part 3. Just when I was preparing to quit again, same thing. In between the action, it's mostly meh. Neither bad (though some odd word choices) nor Ah-ha!

So good. PRK does it again.

I cannot wait to finish because it's been a bit of a slog.

Slow going. If I had to do it all over again, I think I would've followed my instinct to quit it, but now I feel like I'm in too far to give up. It's not bad, it's just not that great. The structure is very clever, the characters not that much.

I like Jen and the comms advice is solid. Basic, but totally solid.
I was looking for more behind-the-scenes on the WH communications function and didn't feel like this delivered.
