Out of town for work this week. Hopefully I’ll get some time to read this book. I’m very excited!

I’m officially jumping on the DCC train.

I’ve been able to read on and off today at work. I plan on finishing this tonight.

Not much progress today. I can’t wait to get a good couple hours with this book. I’ve heard it’s slow and there’s not much plot. I’m not complaining. I like Abercrombie’s style in this one; it’s toned down much more compared to The Devil’s.

Was out of town for a minute and got super sick. I have some catching up to do. I do really like this and plan on finishing soon. Side note: Completely DNFed Empire of the Vampire and plan on starting The Blade Itself.

Insane.

Little hard to keep up with, what with all the names and stuff. Major players are obviously Sparta and Athens—as well Corcyra, Corinth, and a few others I can’t remember.
