I got in this blind and had no idea what was going to happen. The beginning hooked me, but I don't like the way the vibes are developing. I will continue reading and see where it goes.

"... I can't tell where they end and I begin"

This sentence (and all its variations) is so overuesed in books. I get annoyed and thrown out of the story every time I have to read it 🤮

I was going in blind and I have to say, I'm surprised how complex this book is. There are a few heavy themes in it. There definitely should be a trigger warning.
I can't predict, what will happen next and that is very satisfying for my last read in 2025.

The ... pace .... is .... so ..... slow...

This is a lot darker than I expected. The most refreshing thing while reading is, that I absolutely can't predict, what's going to happen.

Der Schreibstil turnt mich richtig ab. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich das bis zum Ende aushalten werde.

So I have to know what the fuss is about, but I'm not into it yet. I'm still confused with the world building and there are a lot of characters an jumps. Hopefully this will improve.

I'm already annoyed with the way everybody is talking. It's all deep, sensitive, teary eyes and shit.

I get "A court of mist and fury"- vibes here. I don't like it.

Oh my Goodness, this book just never ends!!!
I'm incredibly bored, but I'm trying to finish this disappointment of a story.

It's just one endless explanation and therefore I'm bored and frustrated with this book. I struggled with it the first time I've read it and wanted to give it another shot, but I might not finish it.
