The golden retriever Einstein is the star of the novel. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Stephen King's version of Dean Koontz's Odd Thomas. A very enjoyable read.

Ed Myers is finished with I Am Legend
A very simple story to follow -- yet very enthralling. A great page turner. When I watched the Will Smith film version -- I thought the creatures were more like zombies. In Richard Matheson's novel -- they are more like vampires.

Ed Myers is on page 156 of 229 of Rosemary's Baby (Rosemary's Baby, #1)
I'm reading Ira Levin's novel for the first time after watching the film adaptation from 1968 multiple times. And, I'm enjoying it. And remembering certain scenes from the movie which I have in my DVD Library.
Levin was also a playwright and he brought that tight writing style to his novels. So this is the easiest to read horror novel that I've encountered.

Ed Myers is on page 207 of 561 of The Institute
This is a very well written book by Stephen King that is so far filled with mystery. I look forward to seeing out it turns out. Young kids with telekinetic and telepathic are powers are being kidnapped and sent to a secluded facility called the Institute. One is Luke Ellis. Along with his telekinesis -- he's also very intelligent. At 12 years old, he has already been accepted to 2 colleges. He solve the mystery.

Ed Myers is on page 166 of 357 of City of the Dead (The Rising #2)
A satisfying sequel to "The Rising." It might be a little over the top. Early on Jim Thurmond, his son Danny and Frankie along with Don DeSantos face many perilous situations I find hard for anyone to survive before they reach Ramsey Towers. I'm at the point where I found out Dr. Maynard is a disgusting person.

Ed Myers is on page 175 of The Funhouse
The Dean Kootnz that I love to read. A lot of drama starting in the prologue. Great character development. I've been to very few traveling carnivals -- none since my grade school days. After reading Funhouse -- you may never want to go to a traveling carnival.

Not much has happened yet. The main characters are still arriving at Hill House. Shirley Jackson has done an exceptional job at setting the mood of the novel.

I find this to be Stephen King's most gripping tale yet. There have been a lot of twists and turns. Hard to figure out exactly what is going on.

I'm currently reading Stephen King's Outsider. I'm on page 215. I find it to be one of a kind book. I've already come across one twist and turn I didn't expect at all. I have no idea what direction this book is going. Full of mystery.

Ed Myers is on page 276 of 491 of The Crooked Staircase (Jane Hawk, #3)
The novel is becoming a lot more interesting. Jane Hawk has managed to capture Booth Hendrickson of the Justice Department. And, injected an older version of the nanotech to make him an adjusted person.
And, we're learning more of the Techno Arcadians and their vast conspiracy.

It's Aug.7, 2018 It's slow going I'm on page 511. I've found out where the females go after they fall asleep -- to the other side of a mysterious tree. And, I've found out more information of the character at the center of the story -- Evie Black. She's responsible for the moths.
