I can't do it anymore.
I adore Lucy's writing. This one is not doing it for me. I hate all of these people and I hate the slapstick humor. Definitely not for me which makes me sad.

This is very much the case of it's not you, it's me. I just don't think super heroes are my jam. DNF at 39%

I actually don't know the true percentage, but just got to the part in the audio where we find out the significance of the title. Too cute.

Dnf. You know how some authors write connected stand alone books and you're so invested you don't care? Yeah. This was not that for me. Looking at the ratings, I'm in the minority lol. I was just bored. Really really bored.

I've tried. I like the writing, I like the storyline. I don't like the characters together. I'm not even sure I like them as individuals. I had really high hopes for this new series since I"m such a fan. All I can say is maybe this is a case of it's me, not you. I just don't care and am so very bored which makes me sad. DNF

Listening to audio version. Ugh. Nothing is happening. Is this the same series as my beloved Warcross??? I want action.

ACK! I didn't finish in time. I"ll have to wait to ask for it at the library again. I only read 2 chapters, but so far liked it.
