Need to edit the start date back to 5th October.

I started this as a Summer Reading suggestion from my local Public Library. It was a great suggestion, but I only got to Chapter 14, re-reading some chapters twice before I had to let it go. I have decided to take it up as an audiobook instead. Hopefully I don't regret returning the paper version.

So I think that this is the first time that I have posted a progress update. Ever.
I need to say that on the strength of one review saying 'know Persuasion first' I pulled out my high school prize copy, and read the first chapter. Then I re-read that chapter again because I hadn't understood it. Then I found a chapter-by-chapter summary (Sparknotes) which was wonderful and now I am enjoying The Dragons Of Kellynch.

I enjoyed Full Moon Event just a little more than Quest Of Undoing, but maybe it's just because I understand that world a little better.

I finished Book 1 The Quest Of Undoing today. I have started straight into Book 2.

This is where I started this book of short stories from this summer. I leave the book at the beach and just read a short story or two if I need to between audiobooks and ebooks. I will try and remember to update this as we head back home at the end of summer.

I managed to get the audiobook for a while. That was good but I don't know if I can be bothered doing so again to finish it. Watching the movie(s) has definitely been both good and bad for me. Good because I can more easily visualise characters, and bad because I keep waiting for the same thongs to happen in the book that happened in the movie and they are not all going to.

Reading to Room 3 - Year 3-4. Read chapters 1 and 2 today

I'm just at the very beginning of the book version. I hope it goes well as I haven't read any of this author before.

I'm currently reading then listening because when I listened to the first five chapters I had already read I understood more about them.
The audiobook is definitely helping me to come to terms with Hawthorn being 17 years old; before hearing her I couldn't get her to be more than an early teen (which didn't match with the driving and having a part-time job).

I'm on chapter 5. I'm reading it as part of a worldwide book club, biglibraryread. This book runs from Oct 12th to 26th.
I downloaded the e-book first and then noticed that the audiobook was available.
