Many GR reviewers I follow gave this book a low rating. I fully understand!

This book is so sad my heart is broken. I am afraid to finish it

Sunflower Sisters is a well told and well constructed story but it is too long. The slavery portion is so soul searing and the Civil War fighting so destructive I can't control my emotions!

I may have given up on most of Patterson's recent books but I still really like Alex Cross novels!

I want to love this book so I can join my smart friends on Goodreads in their adulation Not happening.

REALLY am not impressed

Though I am barely into this book I am thoroughly enjoying this book. Will get back to you when I have reached 50%.

Almost finished and I'm still not enthralled well maybe it will have a dynamite ending!

I want to love this because I love Lisa Unger but I am fi ding it a bit tedious (:

I really wanted to like this book. I just read An Unorthodox Match also about Orthodox Jewery and truly enjoyed it. So far this book not only takes any enjoyment out of religion but to my mind makes a mockery of it.

I still love Karen Slaughter's story telling ability I just don't like this story:(

I like this book but it is too long often repetitive

I like Rebus but I really don't like the story so it is a DNF

I thought I would really like The Painted Bird especially after reading the forward the author wrote more than 10 years after the book's publication in 1965. It seems to be series of ignorant traditions practiced by peasants. Not enough about the boy or the or his family. The story is more like a Grimm's fairytale.

First I would like to say I think the controversy I read regarding American Dirt is ridiculous! I think this book is wonderful. At 81% however the author has not taken the previous administration to task regarding our immigration policy. I hope that is rectified!

I am truly enjoying The Jew Store

Again I feel like an outlier I really don't like this book. For the time being it goes into my DNF collection.

Push is one of the most heartbreaking books I have read in a very long time. It is the kind of book you either can't stop reading or you put down because the sadness is overwhelming.

Just not connecting with this one DNF

Not loving the 10th Kim Stone mystery. Maybe because today I saw the undermining of our democracy.

If the rest of the book stays this good I've begun 2021 with a bang!

So many readers loved this book. I am just not seeing it.

This book is a gut punch! Mental illness, always a problem and at timess a tragedy, is portrayed here as unbearable…or maybe it is just me.

I read several great reviews for "Atticus" and though I've just begun reading it is exactly what the doctor (in this case a veterinarian) ordered. I love this book's sensibility!
