The author is kind in providing a heartfelt trigger warning sort of note at the beginning. Her story is filled with terrible memories, but it's also a message of hope. I'm hanging onto this to give to my daughter later, and all foster/adoptive parents would benefit from reading this book. I'm thankful for Tori's courage in sharing her story with transparency.

Loved it up until about the last 5 chapters. It kind of fell into a weird jumble at the end. Interesting structure and I really wanted to know what happened
