Nearing end of part 1 with 8+ hrs left. The writing of the characters just keeps getting worse as the plot gets more air time (first 1/3rd was basically just smut with some background plot). I'm 30 min away from dnf'ing what feels like a quite young author's unedited 1st attempt at writing content longer than short smut stories. Holding out for the 'help me' voice in her head to get truly *any* attention 🙄

The exercises in here could be great fodder for passive programming

So far, it's a sexual infatuation between an 18 y/o who lost her father and a man more than double her age, and they both have placed him in the role of surrogate father. And of course, the perverse villain is a gay man. Definitely not reinforcing fucked up tropes at all, nope *sarcasm*
