Alpha and Omega by Patricia Briggs -- this short story starts the Alpha and Omega series, set in the same word as the Mercy Thompson series. Would definitely recommend. Inhuman. I was not familiar with this author. This story had characters and a writing style I greatly enjoyed. I am definitely interested in reading more of this series by Eileen Wilks.
