DNF @ 19%.

At only 6% in, I like it already. I hope I continue to like it as this is a long listen at over 25 hours. I’m so glad there is so much more to listen to. I’m here for it!

With just over two hours left in this audiobook, I feel like it's taking FOREVER to finish this one. For me, it has a few slow spots making it hard for me to pay attention so I've been doing some (maybe even too much) rewinding. I will be glad when this one is finished. Hoping to move on to something that holds ALL of my attention. I normally love romances set in Alaska. Guess everything can't be blockbuster!

Only 20% in and am loving this one!

Am I ever going to finish this book? I still have just under 4 hours to go. But I do like it. Of course I have 3 library books that ar now available. Choices, choices…

Good but so very long. I still have over 30 hours of listening left.

Started off slowly, but that’s to be expected as the story starts. I’m 8.5 hours in and I’m liking it. A lot of characters to keep up with though. Hope it gets even better. I have almost 40 hours more to go. We’ll see what happens.

Really not liking this narrator. This is detracting from the story unfortunately.

I’m 4.5 hours in on this audiobook. I know many people loved this but I am just not that engaged. Giving this a bit more time. I fear this is going to end up a DNF for me. We’ll see.

Chapter 14 - Oh, it’s on now! Seems BOTH sides will be hunting. I’m on the edge of my seat in anticipation of what lies ahead of me!

At 24% in, I am really enjoying this one and have chuckled a few times already. I hope it continues to keep my interest!

Uh oh, I just sped up the narration to 2. Not a good sign. I’m trying to hold on but this isn’t as good as the first book — not to this listener.

I’m 5 hours in and this is going a bit slow for me. It isn’t progressing fast enough for my liking. I’ll try to hang in there for a bit longer in hopes this will grab my attention. There have been small hints that there is more to this story but it’s taking too long to get there.

It’s not looking too good so far. I just have no interest in what is going on right now. Will try to hang in there for a bit longer but I fear this is gonna be a DNF for this listener. Maybe I haven’t given it enough time yet as I’m only a mere 11% in.

I’m only 23% in and am LOVING this so far. Please, oh please, let it continue to be this good. My hopes are raising…

At only 19% in, I am amused as hell. Loving this so far! Hope it continues to be this good throughout.

Is it just me? I’m not liking this narration at all. There isn’t much inflection at all. I’m not sure I’m going to make it through this one. It’s long at just under 20 hours. We’ll see. For now, I’m trying to hang in there. I may have to increase the narration speed. Maybe that will help.

Dang! I'm pretty sure I got it WRONG! Now I KNOW where this is going. Kinda sad though, I think.

I don’t know why, but I’m kinda bored listening to this. Hopefully it’ll pick up soon. Wonder if this will be a DNF for me. We’ll see.

Will I ever stop loving Lucas (and Virgil)? All signs point to “no”. But I do miss the narration by Richard Ferrone. I miss it a LOT!

I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. I KNOW it's going to! We'll see if I'm right. There is just something weird about this guy, I think.

Um, I'm not really enjoying this and admit to having it just playing in the background while I'm working. This means I'm not paying close attention -- like, AT ALL! So the men are so hungry and desperate that they are eating ANYTHING they can find. Yes, this sounds interesting, but its not. I've got 1.5 hours left and I'm torn. Continue or just quit? Decisions, decisions...

Ok. Made it all the way to 40%. That's the best I can do on this one. DNF! Returning to library.
