What a ridiculous piece of nonsense. Lots of stupid errors - an earl's riding horse used to pull a gig? An aging Nanny in a bachelor's house, instead of pensioned off? Worst of all, the characters are morons.

Another good one.

An interesting story that tries too hard to be more than it is. Larded as it is with similes and metaphors, it is a tedious chore to read.

One example: "His coat hung from his shoulders like a borrowed life."

Not enjoying. Going to stop reading, for now.
