Ok I am listening to the audiobook and I’m having a real hard time with the main character voice….

I am trying very hard not to dnf this book.. I keep waiting for it to not be boring.

I don’t understand the set up of this book so far. Mainly, the monarchy doesn’t make sense, why the army guy who is in charge brings this random girl to the palace and then is like just having normal combos with the queen and advisers. Feels more like a small town vibe with a mayor. Also I hate the trope of instant love but I’m assuming it won’t last since the summary of this book mentions enemies to lovers

Tbh reading this book is just making me want to reread Name of the Wind..

FINALLLLLLY finished my reread of book 2 and starting this one. Looks like I’m not sleeping
