A rare case where the film cutting aspects helped the story, particularly by removing the crowd and putting more focus on the walkers. It was also paced better in the film as when I got to chapter 15 and there was still 26 walkers left I knew I was in for a rushed ending and that's what I got. Chapter was masterful though, beautifully written.
