i’m incredibly torn. while i appreciate what he’s trying to argue, i think his explanation doesn’t fully encompass what’s happening with addiction. i feel there’s a “yes and” that i keep waiting for. it is helpful yes, but i keep looking for more

something i find so profound about what i’m learning is my growing capacity to empathize with others paired how quickly i find myself irritated. i’m feeing so challenged by books and educational content like this. It’s just so cool to track growth in real time
