I'm not having much luck with my chosen reads lately, so I'm re-reading an old favourite I've been meaning to go back to for a while. I'm one chapter in and I'm already daydreaming about painters' studios and hand-ground pigments. Such joy!

I really don't like this new(ish) GR feature that lets complete strangers give you a "like" when you add a book to your TBR list... what is the point when we are not GR friends and there's no interaction beyond the like? I really want to turn it off but can't seem to find a way to do it.
